In 2024, donors contributed $786 million in cryptocurrency, a 14x increase from 2023, demonstrating their interest in continuing to unlock the potential of this innovative form of giving. 

Since inception, Fidelity Charitable has converted more than $15.5 billion in non-publicly traded assets and $30 billion has been made available for granting through tax-free investment growth—that’s more than $45 billion in additional funds for charity over the lifetime of our organization.

*An analysis revealed that after 10 years, $89 has gone to charities and only $11 remains to be granted. This continuous flow of grant funds to charities is consistent from year to year—reflecting the steady support that donor-advised funds provide for the philanthropic sector.
